Custom-made products

Clark Outdoor Living screen systems are made to order based on the dimensions, operation type, fabric, finish, and other options selected or submitted by the customer.

Because these products are manufactured specifically for your project, it is important that all measurements and selections are accurate before production begins.

Order review and acceptance

Submitting payment does not automatically release an order into production.

Clark may review your order for dimensional, configuration, shipping, or other issues before it is released for manufacturing. We may contact you for clarification, photographs, revised measurements, or other project information when needed.

If we cannot manufacture or reasonably fulfill the configuration ordered, we will contact you before production and provide appropriate options, including modification or cancellation.

Measurements

Customers are responsible for providing accurate opening dimensions unless Clark expressly agrees in writing to provide measurement services.

Please follow the Clark Measurement Guide before submitting your order.

Products manufactured correctly to customer-submitted measurements generally cannot be returned or remade because an opening was measured incorrectly.

Pricing

Prices shown through the Clark Build & Price system are customer-facing retail prices based on the dimensions and options entered.

Product pricing may include components such as:

• Custom screen and frame assembly
• Manual or motorized operating system
• Reinforced roller construction
• Controls and accessories included with the selected configuration
• Selected fabric and finish options

Delivery charges and applicable taxes are shown separately where applicable.

Prices may change before an order is placed. Once Clark accepts a paid order, the product price is locked unless the customer requests changes.

Freight and delivery

Clark products may ship by freight because of their size and length.

Delivery pricing is calculated using the characteristics of the project and current shipping information available to Clark. Every shipment includes a minimum delivery charge.

Before an order is released for production, Clark may verify freight availability and shipping requirements. If a material change to the quoted delivery charge is necessary, we will contact you before production begins. You may approve the change or cancel the affected order for a refund.

Each screen is wrapped, cushioned with packing foam, and braced with internal supports inside its carton. Those cartons are then strapped and fastened to a wooden pallet for door-to-door freight.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location can reasonably accept the shipment and for making any unloading arrangements communicated before delivery.

Shipping timing

Production and delivery dates are estimates unless Clark expressly provides a guaranteed date in writing.

Manufacturing time and freight transit time are separate. After specification review, production typically takes five to seven days. Shipping is then up to 45 days.

If we cannot ship within a promised timeframe, Clark will provide applicable delay information and cancellation or refund options as required by law.

Inspecting your shipment

Please inspect your shipment when it arrives.

If there is visible freight damage:

1. Note the damage on the carrier's delivery paperwork before signing when possible.
2. Photograph the packaging and damaged areas.
3. Retain the packaging.
4. Contact Clark Outdoor Living promptly with photographs and order information.

Damage discovered after unpacking should also be reported as soon as reasonably possible.

Installation

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Clark's online prices are supply-only and do not include installation labor.

Many customers may choose to install their system themselves or hire a qualified local contractor or tradesperson.

Customers are responsible for determining whether permits, approvals, electrical work, or professional installation are required for their property.

Motorized products require a hardwired 120-volt supply. They are not plug-in. Electrical work should be completed in accordance with applicable instructions, codes, and local requirements.

Product appearance

Fabric colors, frame finishes, openness levels, photographs, and digital renderings are intended to help customers make selections. Actual appearance can vary somewhat because of lighting, monitor settings, production variation, and surrounding conditions.

Changes and cancellations

Because Clark products are made specifically for each project, an order cannot be canceled once production has begun.

Warranty

Products are covered only by the warranty terms applicable to the products purchased and provided with or referenced in the order.

Warranty coverage does not automatically include installation labor, removal, reinstallation, electrical work, or other third-party expenses unless expressly stated.
